Religious: Say someone is about to be an atheist, what would be your best advice to pull him back?

Tell them that they're still following God by converting to atheism (preferably in as flippant and fecetious a manner as possible). But make sure to add that goodness must be the source of their conversion. The thing about the Tree of Knowledge of Good %26amp; Evil is that the curse comes with a blessing: the knowledge of good and evil includes the ability to distinguish between the two. If religion causes a person to do evil, and atheism causes them to do good, then by God, atheism is as Christian as Christianity.

P.S. - That answer gave me exactly 666 points. :(Religious: Say someone is about to be an atheist, what would be your best advice to pull him back?
I don't. The unforgivable sin outlined somewhere in Matthew (I forget easy) says that anyone who truly confesses with their mouth against the Holy Spirit shall never be forgiven.

Therefore, and atheist has condemned the full Trinity, meaning that they are, unfortunately, hopeless. However, I do my best to pull them back. If they live a converted life, they might have a chance. God is merciful.Religious: Say someone is about to be an atheist, what would be your best advice to pull him back?
And now, beloved, marvel not that I tell you these things; for why not speak of the atonement of Christ, and attain to a perfect knowledge of him, as to attain to the knowledge of a resurrection and the world to come? Behold, my brethren, he that prophesieth, let him prophesy to the understanding of men; for the Spirit speaketh the truth, and lieth not. Wherefore, it speaketh of things as they really are, and of things as they really will be; wherefore, these things are manifested unto us plainly, for the salvation of our souls.
Well, if they were sure it was the right thing for them to be an atheist, I'd wish them bon voyage. If they weren't quite sure, I'd want to hear their reasons for and against, and then I'd discuss those reasons. That's if they wanted my opinion, of course.
I would suggest he study the Bible with Jehovah's Witnesses. Examine the reasons for belief in the Bible as the inspired word of God. Find out from them why the world is so filled with wickedness. Why we grow old and die? Will we ever see our dead loved ones again? What is my purpose in life?
I think that don't do anything, let him experience for himself the powers of the Lord. He has the free will to do whatever he wants, and nobody has the right to try and change that for him. Let the big guy take care of it.... he always does
Well if it was a few hundred years ago, they would kill him.

Now they just try to misrepresent and destroy science.
Pull him back from what? If someone wants to be an atheist he has the right to do so. We all have to pay for what we do in life.
You could try asking him to present ';simple evidence'; to back up an atheist viewpoint.
Why pull him back? You should let people make their own choices.
So atheism is falling off a cliff? It isn't. Its jumping with a parachute!
the best way take care of it is to PRAY about it.
oic wat you did thar
JUST GO FOR IT, MAN!!!!
