There are different types from singing to dancing and just reading. The most important thing to remember when you go into an interview is to know or have an idea of the script and the character you want to portray. Then know your material. Speak clearly and have faith in yourself. A confidence of what you are doing and not to arrogant.

At UF, the audition process is basically a monologue and/or 16 bars of a song if they're casting for a musical. Just give it your best shot. You never know what kind of people the casting directors are looking for. Sometimes you do amazing and never get called back, other times you feel like you just did the worst audition ever and your name is on the callback list. Just give it your best shot. Break a leg!
