check your fuses? and central locking button inside car may do it good luck...Remote control will not unlock a W reg Renault Laguna. Any advice? How can the boot and petrol cap be opened?
I know it sounds obvious but have you checked the battery in the remote control?
If you can get into the main body of the car, and it's got drop down rear seats, you could get into the boot that way (had to do this once to get shopping out of a car when the boot jammed - not fun, but possible!).
As to the petrol cap, is there not a lever inside the car that you can pull to open this? there is on most car's I believe.
